Day 01 Delhi to Chandigarh

Arrive Delhi and proceed by train to Chandigarh. The trippers will get to familiarize themselves with their steeds after freshening up in the hotel. Time permitting we will visit rock Garden. We meet in the evening for a briefing of the journey ahead and a chance for the knights to get to know the crew that will be with you on this epic Jedi journey.

Day 02 Chandigarh to Narkanda  / Thanedar

Depart for Narkanda early morning to avoid traffic in Chandigarh and Kalka. We climb into the Himalayas from Kalka. Leaving the state highway we ride along the backroads to Chail and onwards to Narkanda via Kufri and Fagu.

Day 03 Narkanda to Khara Patthar

Depart from Narkanda after breakfast and ride through some scenic terrain to Khara patthar. This route is a lesser traveled one and we are unlikely to pass other tourists on this sector. Beautiful back roads make for some interesting riding.

Day 04 Kharra Patthar to Sarahan

Riding along scenic roads we head towards Sarahan. This days ride is along the old Hindustan Tibet road and we pass settlements and villages that have been around for centuries. Sarahan is famous for the Bhimakali temple there. We will attend the evening aarti (prayers).

Day 05 Sarahan to Sangla

Early departure for Sangla via Karcham . Descend down to the Sutlej river , crossing the river to climb to Sangla valley, driving along the Baspa river. Upon arrival into the mystical land of Sangla the Jedi knights will check into a luxury camp and walk to Batseri village across the Baspa. This is a quaint model mountain village of the region. Dependant on the season you will see a mass of peach blossoms in and around the village. Evening around the bon fire.

Day 06 Sangla to Chitkul to Sangla         

After a leisurely breakfast, depart for Chitkul the last Indian village before Tibet. Chitkul is a very unusual and unique high Himalayan village. Return to the camp where the knights are free to relax and enjoy the environ. Evening again around bon fire.

Day 07 Sangla to Rampur 

Today we have a leisurely departure for Rampur, capital of the erstwhile Bushair kingdom. Situated on the banks of the Sutlej, it has an old market place, the old palace & panoramic views of the river. Rampur was a very important trading village on the old Hindustan Tibet road.

Day 08 Rampur to Shoja

 After breakfast, depart for Shoja. We ride on a back road and off the beaten track to Banjar and then climb up to Shoja. The last ten kms of this journey is up steep inclines and is a strain on both machines and riders alike. The view from the top of Jalori pass is spectacular.

Day 09 Shoja to Chindi

We climb up to the Jalori pass and then descend to the valley. From Behna we head on a minor road to Karsog and then onwards to Chindi where we will spend the night. Back road riding on roads less traveled.

Day 10 Chindi to Thanedhar

Riding onwards from Chindi we head towards Thanedhar, we descend to the valley from where we climb back to Thanedhar. Thanedhar is where the first apples were grown in India. We spend the night in Thanedhar amidst apple orchards.

Day 11 Thanedar to Chail

Depart for Chail arriving late afternoon. We ride down into the valley and ride along a river before we climb back up to appro 2500 metres above sea level. The ride will take us on a varied route and terrain. Overnight halt is just short of Chail and in a nice resort.

Day 12 Chail to Kalka to Delhi

Leaving post breakfast we will ride to Kalka, Kalka is in the foothills of the Himalayas and from where we will board the train to Delhi. Our biking adventure ends here for this trip and we look forward to riding the roads of this mind boggling country again. The train journey will take us through the plains of Punjab and Haryana before reaching the city of Delhi.

Day 13 Delhi to Agra

Morning departure for Agra by road. Visit the Taj Mahal, Fatehpur Sikri & the local carpet making factory. O/n
